McDevitt      As Sheriff of Burke County my focus has been to better equip and train Burke County Sheriff's Office deputies and to create a more professional office that we can all be proud of. As a result, the Burke County Sheriff's Office is dedicated to providing the utmost in professional, dedicated law enforcement services to the citizens of Burke County.      We have faced and met many challenges. One of which has been rebuilding relationships with local and surrounding law enforcement agencies. We have accomplished this with much effort by all agencies involved.
