Warrant Results in Three Arrests! |

| On Wednesday, March 8, 2000, members of the
Burke County Narcotics Task Force assisted by the Burke County Sheriff's
Office, the McDowell County Sheriff's Office, and ABC/NC Alcohol Law
Enforcement executed a search warrant on a residence located at 4901 Tallent
Road in Burke County. |

| The residence was searched after receiving
numerous complaints of drug activity. When entry was made by officers,
individuals inside were weighing and packaging the marijuana at the kitchen
table. Officers seized approximately six and one-half pounds of marijuana, two
sets of scales, two handguns (one was fully loaded and in the waistband of one
individual), four motor vehicles, U.S. currency, two and one-half gallons of
non-tax paid liquor, and miscellaneous items of drug paraphernalia. |

Johnathan Michael Randolph, Michael Shawn
Whisenant, and Christopher Lee Whisenant, all of 4901 Tallent Road, were
arrested and charged with the following:
- Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana
- Manufacturing Marijuana
- Maintaining a Dwelling

| All three were placed in the Burke-Catawba
District Confinement Facility under a $75,000 secured bond each. Their first
court appearance is set for March 13, 2000. |
