| TRAFFIC STOP
RESULTS IN ARREST |

| On Thursday, April 12, 2000, members of the
Burke County Narcotics Task Force, assisted by McDowell County Sheriff's Office
and the Burke County Sheriff's Office, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle
traveling along Highway 64 in Morganton, North Carolina. The traffic stop was
made due to information received that the occupant of the vehicle was in
possession of a schedule II narcotic. |

| The occupant of the vehicle was identified as
Jeffrey Michael Collingwood, 25 years old, of 5828-A Willow Point Drive in
Morganton. Officers conducted a search of Collingwood and the vehicle. Officers
located approximately three ounces of Cocaine valued at over $8,000. In
addition to the Cocaine, officers found two dosage units of Alprazolam
(Schedule IV), a small amount of Marijuana (Schedule IV), and digital
scales. |

| Collingwood was arrested and charged with
Trafficking in Cocaine. He was placed in the Burke County Jail (Downtown) under
a $25,000 secured bond with a first appearance in Burke County District Court
on Monday, April 17, 2000. |
