Fugitive from Alexander Caught in Burke

A Hickory man, wanted for numerous charges, was arrested Tuesday after Alexander County authorities contacted the Burke County Sheriff's Office with a tip on his whereabouts.

Steve Brent Keziah, 31, of 1249 Print Street in Hickory, was arrested at the bus station on Highway 18 South near Morganton after Alexander investigators told Burke officers the fugitive would be arriving there by bus.

Keziah was nabbed by Burke officers without incident. He reportedly was wanted in Alexander, Caldwell and Catawba County for failing to appear in court on charges ranging from driving while license revoked to felonious larceny.

Keziah was placed in the Burke County Jail and will be transported to Alexander County at a later date, officials said.
