Stolen, Arrest Made |

An arrest has been made in a larceny
reported to Burke investigators on Halloween.
Newana Kay Shuffler, 29,
of 205 Garrison Drive, Drexel was charged with felonious larceny of two
handguns from the residence of Darrell Gray Stubbs of 4650 Harold Shore Drive
in Morganton, according to Burke County Sheriff's Office Detective Robert
Beall. |

| Shuffler was placed in the Burke Catawba
District Confinement Center under a $2,000 bond and will have a first court
appearance on Friday. |
