A drug investigation initiated by the Burke County Narcotics Task Force resulted in the arrest of four men Wednesday night.

The men are accused of selling a kilo (2.2 lbs.) of cocaine to undercover officers at a Connelly Springs car wash near the Knob area of Connelly Springs. The men were arrested without incident after delivering the cocaine, investigators said.

The Task Force seized a 1999 Ford Expedition along with an undisclosed amount of currency.

The men were jailed under $100,000 bonds and will have a first court appearance on Friday.

Officers from the Burke County Sheriff's Office and the N.C. State Bureau of Investigation also participated in the arrests.
