23-year-old Kristopher Ray Price of 2421 Harden Road, Icard was arrested Valentine's Day after officers charged him with two counts of forgery.

The forgery occurred at Salem Express on Salem Road in Morganton on January 17th.

On January 14th, Sergeant Craig Treadway with the Sheriff's Office arrested a man using the name Joseph France on Burke and Catawba worthless check charges. An investigation by Treadway showed Joseph France was in actuality Kristopher Ray Price, who was allegedly using his step-brother's name to pass bad checks.
