Three Charged with Dealing Cocaine at Motel

The Burke County Narcotics Task Force executed a search at an area motel Thursday which resulted in the confiscation of crack cocaine and other items. 
 
Matthew David Pardue, 18, of 2213 Drexel Heights, Morganton; Jawhan Wesley Wilson, 20, of 1156 Oak Forest Drive, Morganton; and Erika Patrice Hodsden, 18, of 303 Rockyford Street, Morganton were all charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine. Pardue was also served with an outstanding traffic warrant.
 
The name of the hotel was not disclosed by officers. According to reports, a handgun was seized, along with other items of drug paraphernalia. 
 
Additional charges are pending, according to Task Force members. The three were jailed under $25,000 bonds and will have first court appearances on Monday. 
 
The Morganton Department of Public Safety also assisted in the case.
