| The Burke County Narcotics Task Force executed a
search warrant at 309 Oak Street on Thursday which resulted in the arrest
of twin brothers. |

| Terrell Dion Johnson and Thomas Donnell Johnson,
27, were arrested in the yard of their home upon the arrival of officers from
the Task Force and Morganton Department of Public Safety. Two other people
were inside the residence but were not arrested. |

| A search of the home resulted in the
confiscation of approximately 286 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and
currency, according to investigators. |
| |
| The Johnsons were jailed under $25,000 secured
bonds after being charged with maintaining a residence to keep controlled
substances, and possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana. Thomas
Johnson was also served with two outstanding non-support warrants with cash
bonds totaling $19,000, in addition to the drug charge bond. |

| The two men had first court appearances today,
and detectives said more charges are pending. |
