| Stabbing
Reported at Icard Grill |

| A fight at an Icard eating establishment ended
with a 36-year-old Newton man being stabbed several times, according to Burke
County detectives. |
| |
| The Sheriff's Office received a report of a
fight Thursday night at the Sunset Grill, which is located at 3636 Sunset Grill
Street in Icard. |
| |
| Upon their arrival, deputies found Rodney Lee
Shook, of 1885 Aztec Court, Newton suffering from several lacerations to his
body and a stab wound to the back. |
| |
| Shook was transported by ambulance to Frye
Regional Medical Center, where his condition was listed as stable as of this
afternoon. |
| |
| Detectives arrived on the scene and interviewed
several witnesses. No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
