Methamphetamine Found in Keller's Home

A search of a residence by the Burke County Narcotics Task Force and N.C. Probation and Parole officers ended Thursday with a Morganton man facing felony drug charges.

Officers raided the home of Marty Allen Keller (left), 41, at 2136 Lane Drive in Morganton. The investigators conducted a warrantless search, which Keller was ordered to submit to during his last court appearance.

According to reports, two grams of methamphetamine (commonly referred to as "crank" or "ice"), drug paraphernalia, a firearm and other controlled substances were seized. Keller was taken into custody without incident.

Additional charges and arrests are pending. Keller was placed under a $25,000 secured bond and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, and maintaining a residence to keep controlled substances. His first court appearance is today.
