Traffic Stop Results in Arrest of Wanted Man

A deputy stopping a vehicle for having an unreadable license plate resulted in the arrest of a man wanted on felony Missouri warrants.

Sgt. Alan Cobb arrested Larry Dale Lutes (right), 27,  around 11:30 p.m. Sunday night after learning through the National Crime Information Center that Lutes was wanted in Missouri on twenty-one fraud warrants having a cash bond of $48,500.00.

Lutes, who gave authorities an address of 2346 Summer Paradise Lane, Claremont, reportedly was in the vehicle with another person. The second occupant of the car was not charged.

Lutes is being held in the Burke County Jail under no bond until he is extradited back to the state of Missouri.
