Arrests Made in Dog Theft |
| |
| Detectives arrested a Hickory man and woman and
charged them with the felonious theft of a dog, which had been reported stolen
on November 18th. |

| Arrested were Jesse Shane Price, 19, of 420 Lot
#3 Airport Rhodhiss Road in Hickory, and Stacey Dawn Hunter, 19. |
| |
| The canine was taken from the residence of April
Summerow on Liberty Church Road. Summerow named Price and Hunter as
possible suspects. |

| The dog was later found at an Airport Rhodhiss
Road residence and returned to Summerow. Price was arrested on November 23rd
and a warrant was issued against Hunter, who was arrested the following
day. |

| Price was released on a written promise to
appear in court. His first appearance was held on November 24th. Hunter's
bond and court information was not available. |
