Felony Arrests Made in Dog Theft
 
Detectives arrested a Hickory man and woman and charged them with the felonious theft of a dog, which had been reported stolen on November 18th.
 
Arrested were Jesse Shane Price, 19, of 420 Lot #3 Airport Rhodhiss Road in Hickory, and Stacey Dawn Hunter, 19. 
 
The canine was taken from the residence of April Summerow on Liberty Church Road. Summerow named Price and Hunter as possible suspects.
 
The dog was later found at an Airport Rhodhiss Road residence and returned to Summerow. Price was arrested on November 23rd and a warrant was issued against Hunter, who was arrested the following day. 
 
Price was released on a written promise to appear in court. His first appearance was held on November 24th. Hunter's bond and court information was not available.
