Kidd Charged with Church Break-Ins
 
A 17-year-old youth has been linked to several burglaries which includes two churches, according to detectives with the Burke County Sheriff's Office.

On Wednesday at 8:10 AM, officers responded to a break-in of Mount Hebron Baptist Church, located at 4805 Miller Bridge Road, Connelly Springs. An investigation into the incident implicated Cody Allen Kidd (right) of 1789 Taylor Avenue, Connelly Springs as the suspect, a detective said.
 
Kidd was linked to the recent break-in of Southfork Baptist Church, Detective Sgt. Becky Brendle said. Other charges are pending against Kidd. 
 
Kidd will have a first court appearance on Friday in Burke County District Court.
