| Forney Facing Cocaine Charges |

The Burke County Narcotics
Task Force conducted an early morning operation which resulted in the arrest of
a 24-year-old Morganton man.
Korey Lamont Forney (right), of 2541 Highway 126 was arrested by Task Force
investigators after a raid by the Burke County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team, who
were armed with a search warrant.
Detectives located a quantity of
cocaine and |

marijuana, according to a news release supplied by the
Task Force. A large sum of currency was also reportedly found inside the
residence. |

| Forney was jailed under a $10,000 secured bond
and will have a first court appearance tomorrow for felonious cocaine
possession. |
