| Rabies Clinic Sites and Dates Announced |

| The Burke County Animal Control Division has
announced that clinics will be held later this month to vaccinate animals for
rabies. |
| |
| According to North Carolina General Statute
130A-185, the owner of every dog and cat over four months of age must have
their animal vaccinated against rabies. |
| |
| The schedule for the clinics are: |
- May 30th-6:30 PM...Salem Elementary School (Dr.
Anton)
- May 31st-6:30 PM...K-Mart (Dr. Hemstreet)
- June 1st-6:30 PM...Hallyburton Elementary School (Dr.
McMahon)
- June 2nd-5:00 PM...George Hildebrand Elementary School
(Dr. Zebley)

| Should rain occur, the clinic(s) will be
cancelled and no make-up day will be scheduled. |
| |
| The vaccination fee will be $7 per animal for
the week at any of the clinics or veterinarian offices. |
