One of Burke's Ten Most Wanted Arrested

On October 31, 2006, William Scott Hall, (left), 41, one of Burke County's Ten Most Wanted, was arrested for failure to appear on possession of firearm by convicted felon and failure to appear on probation violation.

On October 31, 2006, investigators with the Burke County Narcotics Task Force received information in reference to the location of William Scott Hall.

William Scott Hall, according to investigators, was located at a residence on Burkemont Road. The investigators, along with deputies, located Hall inside the residence and he was arrested without incident.

Investigators said that Hall appeared in Burke County Superior Court on August 1, 2006, where he was found guilty of possession of firearm by a convicted felon, and was ordered to return to court after the noon break. Hall did not return to court and the judge issued a warrant for failure to appear. Since that date, Hall has received additional charges of probation violation and habitual felon.

William Scott Hall was placed under no bond and his first court appearance is November 1, 2006.
