| Man Arrested for Stealing
Copper |

On April 14, 2007, the Burke County Sheriff's Office received
a report of a large amount of copper stolen from a business located in
Hildebran.
Atilano De Jesus Guzman, 31, right, of Salisbury, was
arrested on April 16, 2007 for felony larceny and possession of stolen
goods.

| On April 16, 2007, the
business from which the copper was stolen, called the Sheriff's Office and
advised that the suspect was currently at their location in Hildebran. |

| Detectives with the
Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and found Atilano De Jesus Guzman in
possession of the $12,000.00 worth of copper that had been taken from the
business. The copper was located in Guzman's van. |

| Mr. Guzman was arrested
for felony larceny and possession of stolen goods and placed in the Burke
Catawba Detention Facility under a $3,000.00 secured bond. First court
appearance is set for April 18, 2007. |
