Four Charged with Breaking and Entering and Larceny

Three males and one female have been charged with breaking into a vehicle, and stealing five motorcycles in eastern Burke County.
 
Christopher Jesse Erickson, Richard L. Lackey, Ricky L. Lackey have been charged with breaking and entering and larceny. Stacey Lynn Erickson has been charged with breaking and entering to a vehicle, larceny, possession of stolen goods, and larceny of a financial transaction card.
 
On July 5, 2007, at approximately 7:37 am, Amanda Bradshaw filed a report with the Burke County Sheriff's Office in reference to a breaking and entering and larceny to her vehicle, which had occurred during the night.
 
Also on July 5th, the Rhodhiss Police Department took a report for larceny of five motorcycles from a residence in Rhodhiss city limits. 
 
Around 12 noon, deputies with the Burke County Sheriff's Office and the Burke County Narcotics Task Force investigated a gas drive off on Ridgecreek Drive and detained Stacey Erickson and Ricky Lackey.
 
Detectives reportedly searched Stacey Erickson, and located property from the vehicle break-in on her person. Detectives reported that information was given in reference to the location of the stolen motorcycles.
 
Upon further investigation, detectives say they learned Erickson, her brother Christopher Erickson, Ricky Lackey, and his brother Richard Lackey were involved in the vehicle breaking and entering, along with stealing the five motorcycles from Rhodhiss.
 
Investigators with the Sheriff's Office, along with Rhodhiss Police Department recovered four of the five motorcycles, and additional property taken during the vehicle break-in. 
 
Stacey Erickson was placed in the Burke Catawba Detention Facility under a $5,000.00 secured bond. Her first court appearance was July 6th.
 
Felony warrants for breaking and entering and larceny were obtained on Christopher Erickson, Richard Lackey, and Ricky Lackey. The three men have yet to be arrested. Christopher Jesse Erickson is currently listed as one of the Sheriff's Office's "most wanted" persons.
