Man Wanted for Kidnapping Considered Armed and Dangerous
 
Randall Charles Sanders, 39, is wanted for kidnapping and is considered armed and dangerous.

On July 22, 2007, around 1:08 pm, Judith Melissa Shronce reported she was kidnapped by her husband, Randall Charles Sanders, at gunpoint and taken from her home to a cabin off Highway 181. 
 
Shronce was reportedly held hostage and beaten throughout the night. Ms. Shronce told investigators she was able to escape the next morning, and came to the Burke County Sheriff's Office to report what happened.  
 
Mr. Sanders is currently out on bond for a rape charge from Cherokee County in Georgia.
 
He is wanted for first degree kidnapping by the Sheriff's Office. Sheriff officials stated that Sanders is known to go by a variety of alias names.
 
Investigators with the Sheriff's Office have searched several residences but have so far been unable to locate Mr. Sanders. His vehicle was recovered on Kela Drive, and he is still believed to be in the area of Morganton.
 
Anyone with information as to his whereabouts should contact the Burke County Sheriff's Office, Crimestoppers, or thier local law enforcement agency.
