 |
Tara Danielle
McGaha, 34, left, has been charged with assault with a deadly
weapon inflicting serious injury, stemming from an incident that occurred over
the weekend.
On Sunday, August 12, 2007, at approximately 6:21 am, the
Burke County Sheriff's Office responded to 6955 Nuckolls Drive off Goldmine
Road in reference to a subject with a gunshot wound to the leg. |
|
| Deputies arrived at
the scene and spoke to the victim, William Christopher Goins, of Granite Falls,
NC. |
| |
| Goins stated that he and
his girlfriend, Tara McGaha, had been arguing and McGaha reportedly shot him
once in the leg with a .22 caliber rifle. |
