| One of Burke County's Top Ten Arrested in West Virginia | ||

Christopher Jesse Erickson, 24, of 5125 Crawley Dale
Rd., Morganton, NC, was arrested in Mercer County West Virginia on November 24,
2007. The Burke County Sheriff's Office has been seeking his arrest since June 2007. He has been on Burke County's Top Ten since June. |

| Mr. Erickson was arrested by Deputy S.A. Sommers of the Mercer County Sheriff's Office. He has been placed under no bond and is awaiting an extradition hearing in Mercer County. | ||
| Investigators with the Burke County Sheriff's Office had been tracking Mr. Erickson's whereabouts for months and knew that Mr. Erickson may be in West Virginia. It was known that Mr. Erickson was born in West Virginia and still had family and friends in the Mercer County and Logan County areas of West Virginia. | ||
| On November 24, 2007, at approximately 11:00 pm, Deputy S.A. Sommers located Mr. Erickson and identified him as being wanted in Burke County. Mr. Christopher Jesse Erickson was arrested and placed in the Mercer County jail under no bond. | ||
| Mr. Erickson will have an extradition hearing on Monday, November 26, 2007. He faces eighteen known charges in Burke and surrounding counties. | ||
