Local DJ has Stolen Trailer Recovered

 
On September 8, 2008, Tara Diane Aday, 27, right, of 213-A Believer's Way, Morganton, NC was arrested for felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods.

On September 10, 2008, Stewart "Allen" Carr of 269 River Loop Rd., Belmont, NC was also arrested for felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods.
 
On August 3, 2008, a local DJ, Bert Lindsay's utility trailer and it's contents were stolen from Magical Music located on Hwy 18 South.
 
Both Aday and Carr were arrested in connection with this case.
 
Investigators followed leads in the case, which took them to Gaston County, where the property was located and recovered. Investigators were also able to tie Aday and Carr to the larceny through evidence collected in the case.
 
Aday was placed in the Burke Catawba Detention Facility under a $8,000.00 secured bond. Her first court appearance was September 10, 2008.
 
Carr was also placed in the Burke Catawba Detention Facility under a $10,000.00 secured bond. His first court appearance was September 12, 2008.
 
Investigators are also looking for Stephanie Leann McCorkle of Belmont, NC in connection with this case.
 
It was learned in the investigation that Mr. Lindsay's utility trailer was stolen during an attempt to steal catalytic converters.
 
Additional arrests are pending and the case is still under investigation.
