Arrested for Prescription Fraud |

On December
29, 2008, Elizabeth Greene Riddle, 49, of 403 W. Union Street, Morganton
has been arrested and charged with thirty one counts of obtain controlled
substance by fraud or forgery.

| The Burke
County Narcotics Task Force received information approximately two weeks ago
concerning possible prescription fraud. |

| During the
course of the investigation, it was determined that the fraudulent
prescriptions date back as far as one year ago. |
| |
| Riddle was
arrested at her residence without incident and charged with thirty one counts
of obtaining controlled substance by fraud or forgery. |
