Arrest Made in Pharmacy Break-In

 
Christopher James Woodard, 28, of 4862 John Berry Road, Valdese, NC was arrested on April 30, 2009 for felonious breaking and or entering.

These charges stem from a break-in that occurred at CVS Pharmacy, located at 200 Highway 70 A in Hildebran, NC.
 
On April 16, 2009 at approximately 5:30 am, deputies responded to an alarm call at the CVS Pharmacy in Hildebran. Upon their arrival, it was discovered that the front door of the business had been broken with a rock. The report was turned over to the detective division for further investigation.
 
Several potential leads were followed by investigators, and as a result of these leads Christopher James Woodard of 4862 John Berry Road, Valdese, NC was arrested.
 
Mr. Woodard was placed in the Burke County Jail under a $10,000.00 secured bond. His first court appearance was May 1, 2009.  
 
Mr. Woodard is still in custody and will be transferred to Mitchell County for similar charges that are currently pending.
 
The investigation into the CVS break-in is still on-going, and additional arrests are possible.
