Man Arrested for Solicitation to Commit Murder |

| Gary Adam Molesa, 65, of Rink Dam Road Taylorsville, NC was
arrested and charged with solicitation to commit first degree
murder. Mr. Molesa's bond was set at $1,000,000.00 secured, and his first court appearance is scheduled for July 17, 2009. |

| On July 14, 2009, the Burke County Sheriff's Office received information from a confidential informant, who had been approached by a Gary Molesa. Molesa allegedly asked the informant about being paid to kill several people. | ||
| Investigators with the Criminal Investigations Division were notified and began an investigation. It was learned that Gary Adam Molesa was previously charged with first degree sexual offense on a child, and taking indecent liberties with a child on October 30, 2008. | ||
| Gary Adam Molesa is still awaiting trail for these charges and the solicitation to commit murder charge is related in that he wanted the victim, and parents of the victim, killed. | ||
| On Wednesday, July 15, 2009, Investigators arrested Gary Adam Molesa for solicitation to commit first degree murder on Teresa Johnson Lowman, who is the mother of the victim in Molesa's sex offense charges. | ||
| Molesa was placed in the Burke/Catawba Detention Facility under a $1,000,000.00 secured bond. | ||
