Eric Germaine Summers, 23, also
known as "Dizzy", of 2501 NC 18 US 64 Lot 7 Morganton, NC is wanted in
connection with a shooting incident that occurred at J&R Mobile Home Park
on June 14, 2010.
The Burke County Sheriff's Office currently hold
warrants on Mr. Summers, who has been evading law enforcement since the
incident occurred. |

| On June 14,
2010 at approximately 8:10 pm, it was reported to the Burke County
Sheriffs Office that David Matthew Higgins had been shot while sitting in
his vehicle. |

| Mr. Higgins
told authorities he was visiting his girlfriend when the incident happened. Mr.
Higgins stated as he was preparing to leave the mobile home park, a man he knew
as Dizzy pulled up in a gold colored Chevy Impala and demanded
money owed to him by the victim. |

| It was
reported when Mr. Higgins rolled down his window to speak with Mr. Summers, Mr.
Summers presented a firearm and shot Mr. Higgins in the neck. |

| Mr. Higgins
stated he immediately drove himself to Grace Hospital where he was treated and
transported to Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte for further treatment. Mr.
Higgins is no longer in the hospital, but is still recovering from his
injuries. |

| The Burke
County Sheriffs Office has issued warrants for assault with a deadly
weapon inflicting serious injury and discharging a weapon into occupied
property on Mr. Summers, who has not been located since the incident. |

| The
Sheriffs Office is now asking the public for help locating Mr. Summers.
He is suspected of still being in Burke County, or could be in the Statesville
area. He is still possibly operating a gold Chevy Impala. |

| Mr. Summers
should be treated as armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on Mr.
