| Willard Henry Ebberts, 25, of 4986 Duckworth Circle Lot
14, Morganton, NC has been arrested and charged with breaking and entering,
larceny after breaking and entering, and felony possession of stolen
goods. |

| On November 28, 2011, a residence located at 1921 Rodeo Lane in
Morganton, NC was the target of a breaking and entering. |
| |
| Stolen in the break-in was an LCD television, a Nintendo Wii
system, and other various items valued in excess of $1,700.00. |
| |
| The arrest of Ebberts makes the third arrest in this specific
case. |
| |
| This is the 11th arrest that involves breaking and entering
cases in the Jenkins Road, Old Hwy 18, and Hwy 64 area totaling in excess of 65
known cases. |
| |
| At this time over 800 pieces of property have been recovered
and a large amount of this property has been returned to the
victims. |
| |
| Bond was set at $10,000.00 secured and first court appearance
is scheduled for January 9, 2012. |

| **** Detectives with the Burke
County Sheriff's Office have been investigating numerous breaking and enterings
in the Old 18, Jenkins Road, Hwy 64, and Glen Alpine areas. |
| |
After months of investigation, detectives
with the Burke County Sheriff's Office, Alexander County Sheriff's Office,
Rutherford County Sheriff's Office, and Glen Alpine Police Department were able
to make the following arrests in the incidents:

- Kenneth Earl Buchanan
- Richard Ashley Rich
- Megan Louise Harmon
- John Thomas Miller
- Christopher Wayne McClain
- James Matthew Ridgewell
- Jessie Luke Sides
- Justin Edward Gatch
- Bradley Scott Griggs
- Shelby Jean Ramsey
- Willard Henry Ebberts

| All the above suspects were charged with breaking and entering,
larceny, and possession of stolen goods. |

| These cases are still under investigation and further arrests
are pending. |
