 Major Banks Hinceman
 
Major Hinceman began his career with the Burke County Sheriff's Office on August 13, 1989. He oversees the operations of the Sheriff's Office, including Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Civil Process, Community Affairs, Reserves, School Resource, and the Animal Control Division. Major Hinceman is an expert marksman and is a firearms instructor for the Sheriff's Office. Additionally, he oversees the Sheriff's Office's SWAT team, and the training of officers. Major Hinceman and his wife, Renee have one son, Casey. He enjoys weight training, fishing, and spending time with his family.
 
 Major David Pendley
 
Major Pendley joined the Sheriff's Office in 1982 and controls the support services divisions, including the Jail and Records. His responsibilities also include preparing and maintaining a budget in excess of five million dollars, computer networking and LAN/WAN management, and overseeing the records management, jail management, and CAD (computer aided dispatch) software systems. Major Pendley is trained in lie detection and is a certified examiner with the Computer Voice Stress Analyzer (CVSA) truth verification instrument. He and his wife, Kimbra have two children, Holly and Andrew, and one granddaughter. His hobbies include bluegrass music and sports.
 
 Margaret Stump
 
 
Margaret is the Administrative Specialist for the Sheriff and Majors. She has been involved in law enforcement since 1983, serving initially as a telecommunicator for fourteen years, and as secretary for the Criminal Investigations Division of the Sheriff's Office for six years. Margaret and her husband, David have four children and four grandchildren. When she is away from her duties at the Sheriff's Office, her passion is for the Missionary Methodist church, where she teaches Sunday school and serves as an ordained minister. Margaret's hobbies include gardening and fishing.
