Two Arrested for

| Delbert Carol Fredell, of 2391 Watts Street, Morganton, NC, has
been arrested and charged with possession of schedule II (cocaine base).
Crystal Lori Wilson Dale, of 102 Cross Memorial Avenue, Morganton, NC, has been
arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. |

| On Friday February 3, 2012 members of the Burke County
Narcotics Task Force, along with the Burke County Sheriff’s Office, went
to 2391 Watts Street in Morganton after receiving complaints of possible drug
activity. |

| Once officers entered the residence they encountered several
subjects throughout the residence. |
| |
| After all the subjects were secured without incident, officers
searched the residence and located cocaine along with drug paraphernalia hidden
inside a washing machine under a pile of dirty laundry. |
| |
| As officers were searching Dale, a crack pipe fell from
Dale’s clothing. |
| |
| After checking all subjects for outstanding warrants it was
determined that Myra Denise Dula had active warrants for her arrest in Caldwell
County for simple affray and two counts of misdemeanor assault with a deadly
weapon. |

| Dula was taken into custody and placed in the Burke Catawba
District Confinement Facility under a $2,300.00 secured bond. |
| |
| Investigators are currently working with the home owner to rid
the community of this problem. |
| |
| Additional charges are pending in this case. |
| |
| Fredell was placed under a $5,000.00 secured bond and first
court appearance is scheduled for February 6, 2012. Dale was placed under a
$500.00 secured bond and first court appearance is scheduled for February 21,
2012. |
